The following images have been taken by ranger and community groups to show the work they are doing on their country as part of GhostNets Australia. We hope that these images help you to imagine how much work and effort is involved in removing the nets, collecting information about them, creating alternative uses for the rubbish and just how big these ghost nets really are!

As many of these images are culturally significant to our indigenous partners it is important that permission is sought from GhostNets staff who can supply, in most cases better quality copies.
